In the second semester of 2024, there will be one Language Boost for Teachers group available:

  • Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from 1 to 2.15 p.m.

The course:

This is a two-semester* language development course for English teachers who are at a C1 or C2 level, but are not interested in preparing for exams at the moment. The course comprises

  • 40 hours of synchronous, online lessons via Zoom per term.
  • Focus on helping you further develop your speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in English, all at advanced level.
  • A book club – we will read and discuss 3 books during the semester.

The lessons are live, but they are all recorded and will be available for 7 days for participants in case they miss any lessons.

*We cover the contents of the course book over two semesters.

Investment:

  • R$ 3.000,00 per term.
    • registrations in May 2024* (25% off): 8 payments of R$ 281,25 (May to December)
    • registrations in June** 2024 (15% off): 7 payments of R$ 364,50 (June to December)
    • registrations in July 2024 (5% off): 6 payments of R$ 475,00 (July to December)

  • Every group must have at least five participants, and a maximum of twelve;
  • Classes are recorded and are available for course participants for 7 days;
  • It is vital that participants do homework assignments diligently, and that they dedicate around 2-4 hours a week (apart from classes) to do course-related work;
  • Participants must be at least at a C1 level to take part in the course.
